All the meals were excellent, and we felt completely pampered throughout the stay. The staff could not have been more helpful and were all so friendly and welcoming. Seeing the whole team singing and dancing to celebrate guest birthdays was just amazing and totally unexpected! The room was wonderful, spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities and great views. We got to see so many different types of game and the game drives with Simo as our guide were fabulous, we saw, rhino, buffalo, giraffe, elephant, all sorts of antelope and zebra. The early morning coffee and evening sundowners in the bush were a bonus. Tip: Take warm clothes for the morning drives as it gets really chilly!

“A Masterpiece in Luxury Safari Organisation”

We have been lucky enough to have undertaken safaris in four other countries in East Africa but this was a first in the RSA. This place is up there with the best.
The location and thus the views, are a great added bonus. Game can be viewed from the terrace. The accommodation is comfortable and each cottage has its own secluded private viewing balcony. The game drives are varied and on each of the five during our stay we had amazing experiences.
The main lodge building has a wonderful bar, viewing deck and restaurant and the food cannot be faulted.
These are the physical “pluses” for RR but the main memory we have is the friendly and helpful staff who, without exception, do their best to make your stay as good as it can be. The organisation is faultless which leads to what for us, was a perfect safari experience.

Extraordinary accommodation, perfect welcome, very good meals, outstanding service. Everything was perfect.
The drive safaris were the opportunity to see the animals very closely, our Zulu guide was so kind and competent.
Same for walking safari with our guide so competent and warm.

Wow wow wow. What an accommodation. From the super friendly staff to the views, to the food, to the interior and rooms. How is this not categorised as a 5-star Luxury Lodge yet? LOVED our stay, our game drives, the food and literally everything around it. THANK YOU for true 5-star service, we are so coming back one day.

“Stunningly beautiful resort with amazing staff”

Rhino Ridge is s stunning resort with beautiful views across Hluhluwe iMfolozi game reserve. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, led by the charismatic Dreis. The food was outstanding and plentiful and our game drive guide, Thulani, was excellent and very knowledgeable and friendly. The bush-walk led by Sbo is also worth doing. We loved our time at Rhino Ridge and would highly recommend. Thank you everybody for an amazing stay.

“Fantastic lodge for safaris and relaxing in a beautiful landscape”

We wish we could have stayed longer, and we will definitely come again. That says it all. Friendly, forthcoming and efficient staff, beautiful place, beautiful nature all around (including the animals...), beautiful rooms (the villas!!!), very good breakfast and dinner, I could go on and on...

“Amazing Resort, Great location”

Wow!!. What an amazing 5-night stay we had at the Stunning resort. Cannot fault anything at all with this resort. Staff: very friendly. Food amazing and tasty. Rooms: Great decor and very comfy. Saw the big 5 in one afternoon trip and saw 8 cheetahs. And a pack of wild dogs. Thanks to our amazing guide Thulani. The walk into the game reserve was very interesting and a great workout. It was just a pity we could not have stayed longer. The holiday we will always remember.

This lodge is 5 star service from stepping through the door. Craig, and his full staff complement , went beyond expectations as it was our anniversary and everything I asked was done to perfection. Meals are an experience to savour with amazing tastes and choices from breakfast to lunch to dinner. The suite was fantastic with views over the reserve. Our ranger guide , Thulani, was so knowledgeable and we found some amazing animals from wild dog to lion to raptors and chameleons!! You must try the Spa when there as it is just an experience to try.
